Director of Higher Engineering

Summary of the job
As a great engineering director, you will plan engineering services and cloud services programs, their leadership and management. You will lead a team of software engineers to implement, test and provide high -quality additions to the Cloud Volumes product in cooperation with our Microsoft partners.

The responsibilities will include:

• A large part of your responsibility will be to provide guidance and supervision of teams of engineers responsible for delivering comprehensive features.
• Take advantage of the pre -acquired technical experience to actively participate in daily projects to meet tables and solve problems.
• He takes responsibility for the results, including costs, methods and employees.
• Connect the status, main issues, and driving changes.
• Suggest and start the process improvements as needed.

Job requirements

• Providing guidance and support to managers who supervise the engineers’ teams.
• You must show leadership and vision in determining and strategic decisions and leadership decisions.
• Be responsible for the undistical tasks and will need new views and creative approach.
• Show the initiative and good judgment in preventing problems and suggesting solutions to the specific issues.
• Managing work burden, prioritizing, and leading results independently.
• Cooperative work with a global team distributed to achieve aggressive goals while responding to changing business and technical conditions.
• Management of employment and development programs and engineering management.

Other skills and education

• Oral communication skills and exceptional writing.
• Strong skills to solve problems, planning and organizational skills.
• The ability to give priority to Mutliple projects simultaneously.
• Working with Azure/AWS or GCP is a great advantage.
• Atlassian, including Jira and Confluence.
• More than 8 years of experience, including an ideal role in management with at least 4 years in managing individuals.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
