We are looking for a post -doctoral researcher with high motivated and skillful mathematics (PDRA) to join the Aston Multiple University team in a project aimed at understanding the impact of neurological degenerative diseases on the structure of culture, which are their connection, and the types of neurons that include and their effective intertwined weights.

The revolutionary project will use nervous shooting records in cultures resulting from neuroscientists who work on sick nerve groups (created from the skin cells in a process called the upcoming human stem cells caused by humans). The shooting activity will be captured by the microscopic chips to allow the conclusion of the structure of culture and determine the effect of neurological degenerative diseases on it. This position will support the assistant researcher by the project by inferring the operations that occur in culture, which enhances our understanding of the microscopic manifestations of the disease by developing analytical tools and modeling.

As a successful candidate, you will focus on developing theoretical models and tools to understand the dynamic processes within the sick nervous cultures. This involves integrating technologies from Statistical physicsand Easy inferenceAnd Complex systems theory.

It will contribute to the development of the method, simulation and validation of health in close cooperation with experimental partners.

Main responsibilities:

• Do research, analytical and numbered, in conjunction with the project research team in the field of reasoning.
• Applying the techniques in force and developing new methods inspired by the methods of Baysi and the model of statistical physics to understand the structure and behavior of the sick tissue and its dynamics.
• Checking the validity of advanced methods in simulations and in real nervous systems to assess their effectiveness and suitability.
• Spreading research through magazines, conferences and workshops.
