This is a specialist in participating in the Tir Canol team, with a focus on linking people and organizations and supporting them to participate in the Cynnal project hosted by RSPB and supported by Esmée Fairbairn.

Tir Canol is a project that focuses on society, designing and providing positive results for nature and people through the use of Earth and the sea. It is located in the middle of cases, almost between the rivers Dyfi and Rheidol. The community aims to cooperate in preservation efforts, including land and sea management, and projects such as crop experiments to enhance local food systems and support biological diversity began as well as an artist in the residency program. We are working at the forefront of local flood management research and supporting societies in DYFI.

The role requires regular events and travel around Tir Canol. We are looking for an engagement employee who is geographically adopted in or near one of these sites; Inside DYFI, Abarystwyth, CWM RHEIDOL, or the upper Cambrian mountains (North Rheidol Valley). The candidate will need a completely valid driver’s license in the UK and reach his private car.

This role is the key to supporting the director of Tir Canol, and the successful candidate will work alongside the nature official, partners and the most stakeholders to interact with our societies and inform our main information about our program.

Basic skills, knowledge and experience:

• Education for the level of GCSE, higher or equivalent
• Knowing the theory and practicing the project.
• Experience in joint production and cooperative work practices.
• Experience in providing communication and participation strategies.
• IT user (for example MS packages, Outlook, etc.).
• The ability to communicate about the project enthusiastically.
• The ability to produce clear written communications and write reports.
• He is mastered in Welsh, with the ability to actively communicate in Welsh at all levels.

Desired skills, knowledge and experience:

• Facilitation skills
• Experience in design and marketing, especially trends in social media and communications.

Additional information:

This is a fixed role for 2.5 years, part -time for 22.5 hours a week.

RSPB reserves the right to expand or make this role permanently without further announcing work needs at the end of the contract period.
