An exciting opportunity for an academic ophthalmologist in mental health at the Faculty of Medicine and Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham. The role holder must provide artistic experience specialized in tissues and sterile techniques to enable excellent research.

The candidate will work alongside a team of clinical ophthalmology and research colleagues to support many research projects on human cornea. Experience is required in sterile technique for insulation, maintenance and spread of primary cell lines; Textile chemistry, immune chemistry, tissues, fluorescent signs and scanning/electronic microscopy. The role holder will help researchers including doctors and senior research colleagues in academic ophthalmology to obtain high -quality publishing data. Responsibilities also include general daily laboratories, management, maintenance, operation and equipment training in the facility. The candidate will be asked to work independently, be proactive, to show the initiative to manage operations and projects and respond to the priorities of change and working conditions. You will have the responsibility for the technical supervision of academic ophthalmology laboratories and is expected to communicate with it
