Job title:

As a colleague of Patent Patents in PKH, you will work on complex and high cases that involve advanced technologies. You will have the opportunity to deal with the objective aspects of the litigation, from the strategy of early status to trial and appeal, as well as participating in the disputed procedures before the US Patent and brands office.

Main responsibilities:

Cases Management: Take responsibility and assistance in all stages of patent lawsuits, including formulation and response to pleadings, suggestions and discovery; Preparing and attending hearings; Support experimental teams.

PTAB procedures: Dealing with post -grant procedures before the Patent and Appeal Board (PTAB), including the interviews (IPR), post -grant review (PGR), and covered business method procedures (CBM).

Claims of the District Court: Participation activity in litigation in the Federal Provincial Court, including the discovery management, deposits, surrounding the claim of the claim (Markman), and the exercise of movement.

Legal research and analysis: During a deeper research on complex patent law issues, including validity, violation, ability to implement, and damage.

Customer Communication: Maintaining strong customer relations by providing clear legal advice, case updates, and strategic recommendations.

The appearance of the court: It represents customers in the federal courts and before administrative bodies, including USPTO and PTAB.

Cooperation: Work closely with other lawyers, legal, and employees to lead the results of successful cases.

Business Development: Supporting customer development efforts, including communication and expanding relationships.

Qualifications:

• Dr. JD certificate from the accredited law school.
• Acceptance in the tape in Georgia or the last suitable specialty.
• At least two years experience in patent lawsuits with one or more participation: PTAB (IPR, PGR, or CBM) facts; Advance in the Federal Provincial Court, including briefing the claim and listening sessions; The discovery management, including written discovery, documents, and deposits.
• A strong understanding of the patent law and litigation procedures.
• Excellent written and oral invitation skills.
• Exceptional research and analytical ability.
• The ability to work independently and as part of the team.
• Strong work ethics and dedication to customer service.

Favorite qualifications:

• Experience with patent patents or portfolio management.
• Technical background in engineering or science.
• Previous trial experience in the provincial court or before PTAB.
• Experience in customer development and marketing.
