We are seeking to employ a lecturer in social work to join our academic team in social work. The role is adopted in the College of Applied Social Sciences in the College of Health Sciences and Life. The college is home to four academic schools, which also include the school of pharmacy, allied health sciences, nursing and dumplings.

As a lecturer in social work, you will contribute to teaching, learning, evaluating and researching social work. This will include planning, teaching to students, and carrying out some leadership unit leadership and other program responsibilities. You will participate in the responsibilities of the educational program (including employment visits), supervision of thesis and contribute to teaching and research in the school, faculty, university and external partners when necessary.

In your role as a lecturer in social work, you are expected to have initial inputs in university work for university studies and after graduates, and they will be asked to work with stakeholders partners. It will become part of the University of De Montfort (DMU) and is an ambitious and mental institution with an unavoidable focus on providing quality education and learning, and focusing at the campus level on providing a leading student experience in the sector. Perfect candidate

To be successful as a lecturer in social work, you will have academic experience, able to teach UG and/or PG units, and an important experience in the field of social work. You will have achieved a qualification for postgraduate studies in social work and to be a social worker in social work England. We are especially keen to hear from candidates who have experience in social work for adults (law).

You must prove your knowledge of contemporary developments in the field of social work and broader awareness of the developments in the field of social welfare. You must have experience in a partnership with health and social care organizations.

This role may be eligible for a DBS. Please note that successful applicants may be required to perform a DBS examination as part of the recruitment process in which you will need to provide additional definition documents.
