Finance Department seeks to employ a collective financing manager. This is a full -time role that can be done with flexibility as 0.8fte if necessary and it will be appropriate as an opportunity to dictate because of its specific nature. We are currently running a hybrid work arrangement with two days in the office and the rest of the time can be done at home.

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic leader to head the financial accounts team, our group and supervise the process of reporting companies. This role is an integral part of ensuring that the university meets the obligations of organizational financial reports, while developing the level of excellence in financial controls and procedures.

Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the production of unified financial statements, including coordination of strategic reports and supportive observations. It will lead to the preparation of government revenues, the monitoring of the public budget, the prediction, the reports of the board of directors and the committee. You will also manage and inspire a team of financial professionals, including managing the direct lines of four colleagues.

The necessary skills, experience and qualifications

• Accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong technique and an updated UK GAP.
• Fixed experience in leading the team, complex collective unification, and preparing financial statements at the end of the year.
• Excellent communication and personal skills to communicate effectively with professional advisers and stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a drive to improve operations continuously and enhance change through the financing function.
