The main purpose of the job

This position serves the EEO Equal Opportunities (EEO) of the Ministry of State Police (MDSP) in the ODEI diversity office (ODEI). Responsible for the investigation and separation in the complaints of discrimination; Performing EEO and sexual harassment, as necessary. Also responsible for the recommendation and/or implementation of programs and ensuring compliance with civil rights laws, regulations and MDSP policies. The minimum qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited secondary school or possession of a high school equation certificate.

Experience: Five years of administrative employees or professional work.

Notes:

1. Candidates can replace 30 accredited hours from an accredited college or university per year to four years of expertise required.

2. Candidates can replace the possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience in administrative employees or professional work for the required experience.

3. Candidates can replace possession of a master’s degree from a college or university accredited for the required experience.

4- Candidates may replace military service experience in the American armed forces as an employee with a commission that includes the work of employees related to the management of rules, regulations, politics, procedures, operations, or supervising the unit operations, coordinating them, or working as an assistant for employees for an official with a higher commission on a year in exchange for the required experience.

6. The professional certificate in the investigation of the chance of employment (EEO) or the relevant field (for example, EEO investigator).

Licensing, recordings and certificates

Employees in this classification can be assigned duties that require a car operation. The appointed employees will be asked for such duties to have a valid car operator license in Maryland.

Special requirements

According to Article 2-204 (B) (6) of the public safety article, candidates will undergo a position in this classification to examine the initial medicines and a complete investigation in the criminal background to include the examination of the sensor before permanent appointment. Criminal conviction may be a reason for the candidate’s rejection.

The selection process

The selection process for this employment will include a training classification and experience provided on the application.
