To expand the scope of influence, IDB Invest enhances its international capabilities and construction by employing major investment specialists in the main foreign markets. You will submit a report to the IDB Invest and the representative of the IDB Invest and the representative of the country at the IDB Group office in Europe at the IDB Global Partnerships Office (GPS) in IDB.

The ICT Department of Industries and topics runs the participation of business and the customer from the industry perspective. It consists of six sections: three focus on the basic industries (infrastructure and energy (IN), financial institutions (FLI), and companies (SMC)); Two focused on crossed topics (climate, environment (CLE), sex and social integration (GSI)); And one dedicated to the administration of the governor (PTM). These divisions together support the implementation of the IDB Invest’s mandate by providing sectoral expertise, objective leadership, and supervising the strategic wallet across the institution.

The Global Partnerships Office (GPS) directs donor resources, partner, knowledge and innovation towards sustainable development in LAC. GPS fills resources, enhances institutional relations, runs partner’s money and lac’s preachers in the Global Development Company. It sets and deepens relations with strategic partners worldwide, including sovereign entities, international organizations, charitable institutions, private sector institutions and academic organizations. GPS also places LAC as a source of solutions to global challenges by falsifying alliances in new and emerging markets.

The IDB group in Europe (EUR) is led by institutional communication efforts and vision in the region. It represents the IDB group in the main events, organizes high -level tasks, coordinates with the GPS/ReM department in strategic, operational and institutional matters. The office provides intelligence and analysis on the scene of development aid for major non -member countries within the region.

It will lead to business creation efforts in Europe and will also be responsible for identifying investment opportunities that are in line with the IDB Invest and building a strong pipeline of high -impact private sector projects in LAC. This role also includes building strong relationships with companies, financial institutions, industry groups and sovereign wealth funds interested in expanding the LAC region in close coordination with the GPS/EUR team, working with trade promotion agencies, trade sessions, DFIS, and regional commercial councils.
