Overview of the situation
We employ a geographic information systems specialist with experience in geographic information systems (GIS), Autocad, and spatial data management. This full -time role in the office is ideal for a person who enjoys the creation of the map, supporting field operations, and working in the forest sectors, benefit, or environmental sectors.

Responsibilities
• Create and update geographical information systems maps for vegetable cover management projects (for example, BC Hydro).
• Use the Autocad for Emergency Planning Program.
• Helping to draw antique sites, and ensuring organizational compliance.
• Providing the daily geographical information systems support for the field sets and project teams.
• Management of spatial databases, maintaining them and ensuring data accuracy.
• Adaptation to the changing project ranges and narrow final dates with efficiency.

Required qualifications
Diploma or degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or relevant field.
• Experience in the status of geographical information systems, preferably in forests or resource management. Forestry field experience is one of the assets.
PROFORT in GIS (for example, Arcgis, QGIS).
• Maher in Autocad to draw maps and technical graphics.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem solving skills.
• Creating independently and inside multi -functional teams.
