Basic duties and responsibilities:

SVP for innovation and competitiveness is a member of the executive team and is the director of the Brussels office in GMF.

This pivotal role is responsible for forming a GMF agenda on the economic policies of the European Union and the United States, the schedule of competitiveness, and the organization’s leadership in promoting the American-European Union dialogue on these issues. SVP will lead policy research, represent GMF in Brussels, and enhance the effect of GMF as a via Atlantic research tank on economic and technological affairs.

It was organized on three basic missions:

1. Leading, managing and developing GMF policy work on competitiveness and commercial and emerging technologies.

An Atlantic Partnership is mainly reshaped through geological and technological developments, including the use of trade and energy policies to achieve geopolitical goals and intensify American -Chinese industrial and technological competition.

SVP will benefit from the deep GMF experience and wide networks in the United States and in Europe to address the complexities of economic and technological challenges today. Through the strategic competitiveness initiative launched in February 2025, GMF provides experience in the American commercial policy and the European Union, Economy and Energy Security, the future of sanctions, and the flexibility of the supply chain. GMF TECH is leading the via Atlantic policy discussions on technological cooperation in Atlantic in the context of the United States of China competition, the impact of democratic intelligence, and industrial dialogues.

This position will include the following responsibilities:

Developing an integrated search agenda

  • Create a coherent framework that is compatible with the Strategic Competitiveness initiative and GMF TECHSTREAM within the framework of innovation and competitive ability.
  • Promoting regional across and thought leaders from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
  • The Atlantic competitiveness agenda is offered through the analysis of industrial policies in the European Union and American matters, economic security, energy transition, digital transformation, and the effects of the strategic competition of the United States and China, and by developing implemented policy recommendations to enhance Atlantic cooperation.

Enhancing the quality and effect of research

  • GMF’s research work on trade relations of the United States and the European Union and the American -Chinese technological competition to increase the impact of GMF policy.
  • Develop a gradual publishing strategy through in -depth policy papers into time summaries and spaces, which target politicians and the public.

Securing sustainable financing and expanding the program

  • Cooperation with the development team to diversify the financing flows through the involvement of institutions, companies partners, government agencies and individual donors.
  • Design and implement a set of leading projects that are in line with strategic donors’ interests and enhance the GMF mission.

2. Enhancing the role of GMF policy in Brussels and through Europe

3. The president’s support as a member of the executive team and the long -term strategic direction of GMF

GMF stands at a pivotal turn where European and American stakeholders seek strategic guidelines to move in unprecedented local and global challenges. To remain influential, GMF must clearly define its unique value. SVP will help take advantage of the internal experience to provide an advanced analysis, Ensure that the European perspective is presented to the United States and vice versa, with the assembly of the various regional ideas of the organization in a coherent and comprehensive view.

As a member of the executive team, SVP will support the president in strengthening the role of GMF as the leading forum for innovation and dialogue in the Atlantic policy. Qualifications and requirements:

  • More than 15 years of the required supreme leadership experience
  • Experience and great skill in managing employees and resources, as well as strategic planning, in similar size organizations
  • Excellent personal skills, including the ability to maintain strong relationships with donors and develop new relationships with donors and potential partners
  • Excellent communication skills to design strategies and communication adapt to certain national places
