Summary of the job:

We have an opportunity for a practical engineer who has skills in mechatronics or e -engineering as well as a strong experience in developing software to join Semtech as an employee engineer, developing the manufacturing test. You will have a strong interest in developing complicated programs for manufacturing systems that perform the automatic and RF tests in the factory environment. You will also ensure the correct design of manufacturing test systems by a good understanding of the requirements for devices and RF testing, capturing the testing requirements for test testing and supervising the test design design, and ensuring the reflection of the test requirements properly in the design of the test programs. You must have a strong interest in wireless data communication such as the latest WIFI and Cellular Network, analysis and exploring errors and repairing hardware and programs, developing software for automated test systems, preparing technical documents, and handicraft/software and mechanical software.

Responsibilities:

Installation devices and testing:

• Communicate with devices teams and RF teams to gain a sufficient understanding of the requirements of the product devices and the RF test to develop the test.
• Review and analyze new products designs for testing.
• Capture test requirements for testing and connecting the requirements to the sellers of the match.
• Supervising and designing lead for testing installations in relation to the product test.
• Lead to develop comprehensive wireless frequency test requirements and devices and test test plans to be implemented in programs.

programming:

• Participate in software engineering design for new test programs
• Designing and implementing software components for automated hardware testing systems and RF testing systems for factory production
• Correcting and maintaining the components of the current programs for the production of the factory
• Review code provided for production by other team members to ensure quality

Other responsibilities:

• Communication and coordination with devices’ teams/RF/FW on technical issues and transfer information and knowledge to the possession team.
• Work closely with wireless frequencies, hardware and fixed programs to explore technical problems in production units
• Prepare technical documents such as test plans, testing the specifications and requirements of the match, evidence of the test station users, and defect analysis reports
• Factory aid operations (i.e. DFM, DFT, NPI and Manufacturing test)
• Analyzing defects, creating clear defect reports, and verifying errors
• Prepare and the ability to travel from time to time for a week to two weeks at a time.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Similar Engineering Specializations.
• At least 5 years experience in exploring errors and repairing devices
• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing programs using C ++ and programming for objects
• Experience with the development of complex software applications using Python programming language
• Knowing the work in communication with data, networks, protocols and interfaces such as USB2/3, UART, i2C, SPI, PCIE, WiFi and Eternet
• Experience with error exploring techniques and repairing devices
• Practical knowledge with the basic range and wireless communication test equipment such as call boxes, digital fluctuations, logic analysts, USB, PCIE and Audio
• The process of reformulating a process with the components of the roof mountain and the assemblies of the printed circuit
• The experience of writing technical documents and developing technical test plans
• Contact skills in the English language and oral verbal
• Excellent skills solve problems and analytical problems

Required qualifications

• Previous experience is the development of automated test systems for the factory production environment as a great plus.

A reasonable estimate of the payment range of this position is $ 91,000 – $ 115,000. There are many factors that were taken into account when determining the basic salary, including but not limited to: qualifications, skills, education and job experience, as well as the job site and the value of other elements of the total employee compensation.
