Summary of the job:

The digital communication specialist will lead the daily content of the social platforms of GMF, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads and Bluesky and you will participate in management gmfus.org. In this position, a person will help develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for the development of GMF communities via the Internet, and to build a brand awareness, and pay participation with GMF content. This position will also lead to the formation and production of storytelling projects to increase the promotion and upload of GMF and its work.

• Work with the director of digital communications to develop innovative strategies and communications plans on social media about the institution’s content, events, programs and initiatives for the institution
• Create digital media sets for all GMF’s leading events and publications for all GMF employees
• Monitor the trends of the social media industry, determine the opportunities for different platforms, and the participation of the target audience
• Take training colleagues in the use of digital channels in GMF and enforce the policies and practices of digital communication in GMF
• Management of social media channels for President GMF
• Help in monitoring, analyzing and reporting traffic on the website, sharing social media and continuously improving channels using these standards from Temporary store And Google Analytics
• With the director and digital communications responsible for tracking and reporting the standards through social media channels gmfus.org
• Work on new digital products, including podcasts
• Keeping up with the tactical evaluation of communications for promotional opportunities,
• It works with the multimedia team to develop graphics and videos
• Help create and determine the voice of GMF on social media
• GMF cooperation to implement large social media campaigns for the main annual events, events and anniversary
• Developing broad policies and procedures for digital channels
• Digital Participation Department during living events, including direct tweets and live large events
• Managing and developing paid digital advertising campaigns for major GMF products

The necessary knowledge and skills:

• Work experience installed in social media management and its growing fans online; Introduction with social media management tools (Temporary store plus)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong ability to distill political ideas, news and across the Atlantic topics into a suitable language for social media and for the purposes of storytelling
• It explains a strong ability to create and implement the social content strategy to involve and develop communities via the Internet using data, analyzes and audiences, especially the analysis tools
• Knowing the basic principles of web planning and design, HTML, content management systems, Drupal, and other web platforms, such as WordPress. Experience with Dropal’s favorite
• Experience in improving search engines (SEO)
• Self -start with the ability to manage communications and work progress across time areas
• Strong attention and knowledge of current events; Attention to international relations plus
• Strong attention to detail, organized, and directed towards the task
• Experience in graphic design for social media, especially Canva, and short video editing. Efficiency with the creative suites (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro) is plus
• Experience with promoting paid social media

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in journalism, international relations, communications, marketing, English, history, political science, or a relevant field.
• Almost 4-5 years of relevant work experience.

salary: 63,400 dollars – 79,200 dollars
