The main focus of the Deputy Director of Community Development is the leadership Land use Files operations, supervision, direct and direct employee planners within the Community Development Department. The deputy director also performs complex planning work, provides supervision of other planners and helps the community development director providing employee support to the Council of Provinces, the Planning Committee and other councils as specified.

Basic functions:
