The Dean of Learning and Teaching will lead the delivery of the main education strategies to the college in line with the conditions of the Offs, to ensure the progress of the academic faculty members of a high -quality academic experience for students and that the college meets the expectations of its organizers and give the bodies to the quality of their education, learn and evaluate.

  • To provide vision, leadership and strategic guidance for all aspects of learning, education, evaluation and the development of faculty members.
  • To oversee the maintenance, implementation and evaluation of education strategies in the college, while ensuring that they agree with best practices and that they pay the provision of excellent teaching and evaluation in accordance with the requirements of organizers and granting bodies.
  • To lead the development and presentation of the academic development program for all members of the faculty.
  • To maintain a network of faculty members in the college, support improvements in the science of teaching principles and curricula, and facilitate an educational scholarship.
  • To work in partnership with mixed learning technicians to explore emerging teaching and learning techniques, advise the college to adopt new tools and enable their effective and effective implementation by faculty members.
  • To start developments in learning, teaching and evaluation in response to changes within the college (such as the fields of new topics) or externally, providing new technologies or practices in cooperation with external partners and stakeholders.
  • To support the development and implementation of effective processes to employ and incite new faculty members, and to evaluate teaching and learning.
  • To provide leadership and management for a team of teaching deans.
  • To represent the college externally in the fields of teaching, evaluation and academic development.
  • To support the implementation of regulatory requirements and strategic plans, when necessary, such as the registration of Offs and the application of generous grade powers (TDAP).

requirements

Basic qualifications and experience

  • Related higher degree.
  • The upper fellowship of the Academy of Higher Education (or equivalent vocational recognition).
  • An experiment installed in evaluating and promoting teaching and learning.
  • A busy record in improving improvements in teaching, learning and evaluation through teams of faculty members.
  • A busy record of successful growth management, leading teams and new structures, systems and operations.
  • An experience in enhancing strong cooperative relations with external partner organizations at a large level.
  • Professional recognition of the leadership of innovative practice in teaching and evaluation.

Basic skills and capabilities

  • Strong leadership qualities and skills consistent with the position of senior management, including managing, developing and motivating teams and individuals to lead high performance.
  • With a self -motivated power. Bring credibility, flexibility and commitment.
  • High -level communication skills, with the ability to represent the kidney effectively externally.
  • High -level negotiations, and influence empowerment skills to ensure priority.
  • The ability to work positively with stakeholders to achieve results and provide change through people.
  • The positive position “can do” and its approach and the ability to work at a pace.
