The London School of Hygiene and Equity Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. We employ a proactive research financing official to provide comprehensive support for the development of budget before the academic colleges of LSHTM. The post will work within a small team responsible for supporting coordination, developing budget and submitting research financing applications.

This is a crowded and diverse role that requires publications to:

• Provide advice on the cost and pricing of standard search applications
• Developing research budgets as well as academic and professional services employees
• Work with the LSHTM research system, Worktribe and a set of Funder online application systems.
• Ensure that the financing requests are in line with the agreed policies and procedures at the university
• Work on external and internal timing dates through a set of projects.

You should learn to a degree level or equivalent, or its equivalent experience related to work. Successful candidates will have experience in providing high -level administrative support to colleagues. You will have experience in work in financing or professional service. Good organizational and personal skills are essential, with the ability to give priority to work burden and work flexibly to support a set of activities with competing final dates and time standards. This post is 35 hours full -time per week, 1 FTE and a fixed period for 3 years.

The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, grade 5 in the range of 39,432 pounds – 45,097 pounds annually in support of fees (including weighting in London). The post will be subject to LSHTM terms and service provisions. The annual leave right is 30 working days per year, PRO RATA for part -time employees. In addition, there are appreciation “welfare days”. Pension scheme membership is available. The post is located in London in Lshtm.
