The University of Hirtfsheire opens a new medical school with the first group of our students starting in September 2026. We have a very enthusiastic essential team that already works in the project, with the Faculty of Medicine at City Saint George, the University of London, as our sponsor. We are now expanding our team to develop and implement the MBBS program (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), and we are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our student management service as Vice President (MBS) to lead student management activities for the program.

Main duties and responsibilities

In this newly created leading role, you will bear the comprehensive responsibility for all the students related to the students of our new MBBS program, management of a dedicated team of employees and working closely with NHS partners, clinical employees and colleagues throughout the university. It will guarantee compliance with university regulations and the requirements of the General Medical Council, support for student evaluation and specialization, supervision of students’ records, and contribute to providing excellent service and high quality experience for our students. As a member of the senior management team, you will play a major role in forming the operating delivery of the MBBS program at the University of Herfordshire.

The required skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have a great administrative experience in a large and complex environment and experience working with a wide range of stakeholders. We are looking for a person who has the skills of managing people installed with the ability to lead, motivate and develop teams. You must have excellent organizational skills, problem solving, communication, and a strong understanding of regulations, policies and data management. It is also necessary to have excellent skills in dealing with others and influencing, and the ability to build credibility and cooperation effectively with academic colleagues and senior professionals.

Required qualifications

You will be taught with a minimum degree or equivalent or installed administrative experience.
