Summary of the job

Submit reports to EVP, chief charitable employee, President of the Vice President – BSW All Saints Foundation responsible for planning and supervising charitable activities, and pioneering charitable activities for one or more of the Foundation for the Scott and White Health (BSWH), which may include capital campaigns, major talents, annual giving, giving Institutional, giving to employees, employees, council reserves, as well as marketing strategies. Responsible for obtaining new revenue funds for BSWH institutions by acquiring gifts, donations and grants. It ensures that the founding charitable works meet the needs of BSWH patients, hospitals, clinics, ambulatory care facilities, health care services, research, and education. Plans and development of strategies, programs, events, policies and initiatives designed to enhance the charitable giving of BSWH institutions. It works as a link with various agencies, foreign organizations and donors to develop and raise relationships to raise funds. It creates relationships that encourage charitable support for BSWH institutions. It determines and maintains a portfolio of the best donor prospects for BSWH institutions and develops work plans to grow charitable activities and charitable activities, seek and close them. It is closely cooperated with the executive leadership, the Board of Trustees, Operations, and other departments to develop, diversify and support institutional programs and charitable works according to the total BSWH goals.

Basic functions

He supervises charitable activities for one or more of the main institutions of BSWH.
– Developing a fundraising plan, priorities and programs that are in line with the BSWH mission and work objectives.

– Developing and implementing the policies and procedures of the institution that governs operations, including the supervision of funds, fund balances, money transport, and coordination of fund officials.

– It leads the development and implementation of new institutions programs, initiatives and services, working closely with BSWH operating functions to ensure the continuity and growth of programming and services – including engaging in new technologies to meet the needs of the donor
– Partners with the executive leadership of BSWH, institutions councils, and major volunteers in money raising activities.
– Developing, plans and implementation of all funds and activities of funds to achieve the budget goals and the campaign for the institution.

Main success factors

– Bachelor’s degree in health care management, business or relevant degree. It is preferable for a master’s degree.
– 5+ years of experience in non -profit management, collection of charitable donations, or relevant areas.
– 1+ years of experience in the role of leadership.
– High energy, with passion using the foundation for medical excellence and research.
– Personal, verbal and excellent communication skills.
– Successful has proven to be (closing) major gifts, managing multiple prospects and donors, and building long -term relationships with major donors.
– It is preferable to obtain a professional certificate similar to the collection of funds (CFRE) or a similar professional certificate.
