Thanks again to JP to contribute This post Last week. I love the conversation that I paid in the comments section. There is a lot that I wanted to comment on myself, I think I will deal with two points here in the blog post.

A few of you have shared my admiration for JP retirement at such an early age. In my opinion, this is the most amazing. One commentator expressed some doubts about whether JP was truly retired or among jobs, as well as about two million dollars that I raised by the age of twenty -eight. Another had problems with the choice of JP to live in only 325 square feet, and wondered whether she would be able to keep it in the 1940s and beyond. With others, the conversation revolves around whether they want to retire in a large city in the first place.

In the first two issues, I know at least two people from the world of super technology who have made this type of money by the time when he was 28 years old, and neither of them has yet to retire. Because neither of them accepted the lifestyle options that were supposed to be necessary to live on this for the rest of their lives. Or maybe they only like to work, or maybe a mixture of both. Regarding whether JP is actually “between jobs” instead of retirement-with five or six decades of life in front of her, who knows, JP may make some work for money again in the future. I did two years ago at one point during the eight years of retirement. This does not mean that I did not retire before I did that, or that I was not retired now.

Regarding the issue of living in 325 square feet – who knows if it will always live in 325 square feet in the future. This is the scale that works for her now, but as I said five or six decades. And she points out that in the “Trinity” real estate of factors in play: price, location and size, and “you can get any two. But not the three.” Perhaps at some point, JP will switch the size of the site if you feel the need for a larger space and the least city. These are the bares that most people must reconcile life, JP is not different.

In fact, the same thing can be said exactly about retirement, except for the Trinity of retirement factors is work, assets and lifestyle.

I am a city girl, but I live in the suburbs. Oh yes, and in 4000 square feet. If you decided to retire to a studio apartment in San Francisco, it might have been retired at least ten years ago. However, at least now, enjoy the space. Do I want all this space when I am 70 or 80 years old, maybe not. So I will move! Was I a house of 4000 square feet in San Francisco instead of the suburbs? Certainly, but I had to work more than 20 years to achieve this.

Work, assets and lifestyle.

If you want young retirement, in fact at any age, you fill with the giving between the Trinity of the factors.

Want to stop working but you don’t have enough assets to continue your current lifestyle? Well, you will have to set your lifestyle to suit your current assets. The lifestyle that you have now is not negotiable? Then you will have to work until you collect the assets to support this lifestyle. Or perhaps cutting the work and lowering the lifestyle in some way to make the numbers work without the need to choose one or another.

You may live in the city of your desires at 325 square feet, or one hour in 4000. You just have to shake the puzzle pieces together until you make the image you want for your life.
