Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) invites requests for employees open in the Arabic language.

A successful filter will hold a master’s degree or doctorate in language education, linguistics, or applied linguistics. Successful candidates will show excellence in teaching Arabic at all levels, including experience working with heritage learners. They will also have a record of effective education in skills -based courses (for example, Arabic works and academic writing) and in learning activities, the pioneering curriculum and experimental curriculum that supports the development of the Arabic language. The expected start date for this position is August 2026.

The application process

Requests will start on October 1, 2025, and continue until the position is filled. Applicants must provide a coverage letter that explains in detail the interests of teaching and research, clarifying the curricula, a statement of the teaching philosophy (no more than 500 words), evidence of excellence in teaching (such as the categories of the training course for modern students, peer monitoring reports, etc.), and the names of three scientific references.
