Summary of the job:

Reports to the chief information employee, the District Director of Infrastructure Infrastructure Technology leads the planning, implementation and management of information technology services at the level of institutions, including data centers, networks, communications, servers, cloud environments, virtual environments and database management. This role guarantees a reliable, developmental and safe delivery for both local and cloud infrastructure, and is compatible with institutional goals. As a major member of the Information Technology Command team, the provincial manager contributes to strategic planning and enhances the culture of customer service, cooperation, change management, and best security practices.

Initial duties and responsibilities:

Basic performance requirements*
It works as a major member of the Information Technology Command team to determine the strategy, agree to technology acquisitions, direct the development of the process and change the change
It leads the full life cycle and the strategic direction of infrastructure services for information technology in compliance with the goals and institutional standards
It provides safe, stable and sustainable infrastructure solutions that support the college mission

The minimum qualifications required:

Bachelor’s degree in work or relevant artistic field
Seven (7) progressive work experience in managing information technology infrastructure, including work with cloud platforms (for example, Azure, AWS), virtual simulation, institutions networks, and project management
Three (3) work experience for years in supervision (for example, management and evaluation of others’ performance)
Three (3) work experience in developing and managing employment and capital budgets

Favorite qualifications:

Master’s degree in work or relevant artistic field
Approved by CISCO (CCNA/CCNP), Microsoft Azure, or AWS
Work experience for at least two years in higher education or public sector environments
Work experience for at least two years with Texas Administrative Law 202.70-77
Work experience for at least one year using Itil or other services management parties
Work experience for at least two years leading infrastructure projects on a large scale, including planning and implementation and the participation of stakeholders
Work experience for at least two years in the implementation of the network and infrastructure to monitor performance.
