About the McGregor Center to control global blood pressure

The Queen Mary University Medical College in London launches the McGregor Center for Global Blood pressure. This pioneering initiative, whose value in millions of pounds is the leading experience in the world in high blood pressure research, cardiovascular prevention, and clinical care. The name of the late Professor Graham McGregor CBE FMEDSCI, a global salad on the policy of salt and food reduction. The center will deal with the main cause of preventive death: high blood pressure.

With the funding of 10 million pounds from Queen Mary University in London and the blood pressure research fund, this center will unite the current excellence in blood pressure, education and clinical care research at the William Harvey Research Institute, the Wolfson Institute for Population Health Sciences and the Barts Hart Center. Its institution will lead to the leadership of translation research, change of politics, and innovation for better global health, starting from 2.5 million people living in our diverse society in East London.
