FAPSP POSTDOCTORAL Fellowship is available in the regular search grant project. Research activities will be implemented in the Intinstational program in the statistics at UFSCAR/USP (pipelines), based at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR), Brazil.
This position is open to Brazilian or international researchers with a PhD. In statistics, obtained in Brazil or abroad, with experience installed in the areas of survival analysis and/or reliability, and the ability to suggest and verify advanced statistical models.
The applicants are expected to also have Strong programming skills in R and PythonAnd experience with:
Git/GitHub
API development Integration with databases (for example, SQL, comfortable application programming interfaces),
IDES like JuPYTER books or VsCodeand
Parallel programming For mathematical efficiency.
Candidates must also have a strong interest in Multiple disciplinary cooperationIncluding, but not limited to areas such as engineering, epidemics, medicine and general health.
