A post -PhD researcher is available for a distinguished industrial and ambitious industrial, with a busy record in the synthesis of multi -episodes and polymers associated with research in the Dr. Ashok Kirthi group in the Department of Chemistry, Manchester University.

The KeerTHi research collection focuses on the artificial engineering of the molecular structure such as glossy nanographs, Nanoribbons 1D graphene, and two -dimensional frames through the synthesis from bottom to top. The team works on new types of molecular structure to adapt function and properties. For more information about the research collection, see the web page http://ashokkerethi.weibly.com/

A successful applicant, or for him, must have a doctorate degree in artificial organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, or above molecular chemistry. The applicant must be able to work according to his own initiative and must be aware of the techniques of joint laboratory, general analytical tools and methods of reaction examination. A high level of English communications, by mouth and book, required.

The start date is the third of November 2026, or as soon as possible after that, the situation is available for one year with a possible extension for another year.

The general purpose of the job

Design and synthesis of molecular tapes and new types of two -dimensional molecules under the supervision of Dr. Ashok Kirthi.
