responsible for: Organization

Responsibilities:
Work to enhance and achieve the goals and priorities of the Minnesota Nurse Association (MNA). To plan, implement and coordinate a comprehensive strategy to maintain and increase the representation of the MNA Federation as well as the involvement and mobilization of the current MNA members.

Duties may include, for example, but not limited to:

• Development and implementation of organizing campaigns for new compromise units MNA
• Development of the work site organizing committees
• Communication with non -union nurses about the benefits of the union
• Maintain a database for organizing campaign
• Helping bargaining for the first decades of newly organized units
• Helping MNA employees in political activities

The situation may include long and irregular hours, including weekends and evenings. Travel is required, including stays overnight.

Qualifications:

education: Favorite registered nurse. Bachelor’s degree or similar experience is preferred.

expertise: You must have experience that has been proven or proven in organizing and/or packing.
Knowing the healthcare and preferred policy industry. The knowledge of unions, work relationships and the required work law showed. Book and excellent communication skills with desire and ability to lead and motivate others are effectively necessary. It is necessary analytical skills and problem solving.

salary: For each Mnaso Local 1, Contract Agreement Unit 2. Race ranges between 84,656-156,062 dollars, depends on experience, with generous benefits including specified benefits pension, 401K matching, and 100 % of insurance coverage for low-cost family health, 20 holidays, 12, and 3 personal days along with 12 paid vacation Annually.
