We are a dynamic, varied and dedicated team of professionals with a passion for music who provide general advice to Warner Music Latina Inc. Through a wide range of commercial and legal issues. Your role:

Under general supervision with Lattude for independent judgment and decision, you will participate in the company’s legal operations and work with other departments within the company. This includes a review/ formulation of contracts that affect copyright, licenses, royalties, fees, assistance in claims and settlements, and managing the final dates for contracts along with legal and other related commercial affairs. Knowledge of basic legal concepts, as well as a background in contract formulation and contract management is necessary for this position.

Here you will reach:
• Preparing, reviewing and reviewing many music -related agreements, including recording, licensing, distribution, producer, side artist and video agreements.
• Managing the implementation of the contract and maintaining accurate records using internal systems and databases.
• Conducting legal and realistic research related to copyright, brands, rights management and artists’ disputes.
• The draft correspondence, notes and summaries of the internal stakeholders.
• Coordination of signatures, tracking products, and organizing documents for the fully implemented agreements.
• Helping to remove samples, artworks, marketing materials and other content.
• Support for due care and audit of accounts related to artists ’contracts, the conflicts of kings, or acquisitions.
• Maintaining the status sheet of all open team issues. Update weekly and attend the team’s meetings for discussion.
• Contact with internal departments including A & R, Marketing, digital, and collection to collect or share relevant documents.
• Support lawyers in responding to claims, notifications and litigation.
• Help in any private projects, as required.

About you:
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in a law firm or an internal legal department and/or background/other legal experience.
• Introduction with legal terms and the life cycle.
• A strong interest in details and organizational skills.
• Written communication skills and excellent pronunciation in English and Spanish.
• The ability to communicate effectively and interact with employees at all levels and through departments.
• A strong feeling of morals and the ability to deal with secret matters with discretion and rule.
• It is capable of multiple tasks and determining its priorities in a fast -paced environment that depends on the deadline.
• The active desire for learning and pre -emptive to take the initiative and tasks.

• Experience in the music or entertainment industry.
• Experience with contract management tool.
• Prefer a bachelor’s degree and a semi -legal certificate (from ABA approved school) or equivalent legal experience.
• IFAT or the ability to use Google.
