This is an exciting time to join the EPSRC Training Center (CDT) in data-based health (Drive-HELHE).

CDT Health CDT will set and train at least 85 students in health data sciences on five groups in 8 years coverage, from 2024.

It is involved in the creation of NHS TRSTS funds, national and international industry and charitable partners, and Drive-HELTH provides impressive research to enable health data science and technical skills for the future.

This will be the new role in the King’s PhD College and is working closely with academic and professional services teams in health colleges and through the college. King PhD College (https://www.kcl.ac.uk/doctoralcollege ) PhD researchers enable their ambitions and is a center for all participants in doctoral research in King’s. We help build a comprehensive doctoral research community, and to bring students, supervisors and employees.

About the role

The primary focus of this role is to provide professional services driving to CDT, ensuring the delivery of CDT to its goals, and effectively managing all operations and operations. This is a high -minded role that requires close cooperation with academic and professional services employees and active participation in all aspects of delivery.

The Director of the Drive-HEALTH CDT will work in partnership with CDT managers and CDT management teams, as well as the King’s Doctoral College (KDC) and will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of management and delivery, with contributing to the center’s strategy and operational development.

This is a full -time post (35 hours a week), which is presented to an unlimited contract.

About you

In order to be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates for the following skills and experience:

Basic standards

• First degree or other appropriate qualifications;
• Strong management skills (persons and projects), with a good estimate of business and management tools (business planning, marketing, operational and organizational operations and budget control)
• Creative to lead others, think strategically and contribute to the strategic direction.
• A deep understanding of training and finance issues of graduate studies and higher education management, such as Ukraine training.
• Excellent operational driving, organizational skills and time management, including the flexible approach to managing a continuous and varied wallet; Allocating resources and the ability to fulfill the multiple fixed deadlines
• Excellent communication and personal skills at all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience and confidence in dealing with multiple and complex budgets – analytical skills and excellent account
• Great experience in project management and implementation, including reports writing, preferably in implementing the academic environment, including writing reports, preferably in an academic environment

Desired criteria

• Knowing student data and financing systems at university; ORINAL UKRI database.
• Rehabilitation level of graduate studies; Administration qualification
