This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed mental health research group (MHRG) at Bath University. MHRG is funded for 5 years by the National Institute for Health Research. Our work focus is on research aimed at improving mental health and well -being of children and youth.

This is part -time, a fixed -term post (12 months, 0.2FTE) will be in person in the Psychology Department at Bath University.

About the role

This researcher will focus on the use of longitudinal data on health care on a large scale, to understand identifying and providing health care for health care, for children with nervous diversity within health care systems. The successful applicant will attend strong training and/or experience in advanced data analysis methods, enthusiasm to work with large data groups, including data groups with associated health care data. A successful applicant will need to accredit or be already qualified as a national statistical researcher office. Previous experience in conducting research focused on children’s mental health and/or youth is necessary.

We have a clear commitment to skills training and job development for all research employees in MHRG. It will work under the supervision of the world’s leading doctors and academics. Bath MHRG cooperates with Bristol and Exeter universities (as part of the GW4) and there may be opportunities to work with researchers in partner institutions.

You will also have opportunities to receive more research training (for example, in PPIE or good clinical practice).
