OASW seeks to obtain a dynamic and experienced individual to take over the role of communications and marketing specialist in a 12 -month contract. In this position, you will develop, implement, implement and measure the tactics and strategies of communications and marketing to enhance the brand of OASW, member participation, and support the success of programs, services and organizational initiatives.

Your role will extend to the management of the institution’s social media presence, the implementation of digital campaigns, and the support and production of events.

• Supporting the development and implementation of communications and marketing strategies to enhance the profession, member participation, and enhance the success of OASW programs, services and initiatives.
• Coordination and management of the organization’s e -mail evaluation.
• Formulating, coordinating and distributing email contacts using the HTML (MailChimp).
• Support the development of strategies and tactics to improve the audience’s fragmentation and target.
• Supporting the development and implementation of the association’s social media strategy.
• Management of the organization’s social media content.
• It performs social media monitoring, content arrangement, content development, and publishing.
• Developing and implementing paid social media content and advertising campaigns, as needed.
• Supporting, managing and updating the content of OASW.
• Leadership and implementation of marketing and tactics plans to enhance OASW professional development offers, network programs, prize program, volunteer employment, and other main features, programs and services.
• Develop the drawings in line with OASW’s brand standards to support the implementation of communications and marketing plans.
• Supporting the planning and implementation of the annual social work week campaign for OASW and the social work campaign, including leading the main aspects of the marketing of the campaign, awareness and digital components.
• Support the development of the association’s annual report, including project coordination, data collection, content development, design and distribution.
• Supporting the planning, implementation and production of companies ’events in OASW, as required.
• Support for translation needs coordination.
• Driving and reporting the main metrics of communications and marketing.

• University degree or university diploma in communications, public relations, marketing, or the field of related study.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Verbal and written communication skills are excellent.
• Super advertising skills.
• A strong sense of design and experience in developing email drawings, social media, websites and other digital platforms.
• Skills and experience in project management showed.
• Success in developing and implementing marketing and tactics plans.
• The job experience experience to support multiple departments and initiatives.
• Strong regulatory skills, including the ability to manage tasks and multiple projects simultaneously.

• Design software (ADOBE, Canva), or other email marketing platforms, or email marketing platforms (Mailchimp), design programs (Adobe, Canva), social media / social media management platforms, web content management systems, Google Analytics, HTML, and Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, ASANA or other project management programs.
• Experience in a non -profit organization, social work sectors, social services or membership association will be considered one of the assets.
• French and written communication skills will be considered one of the assets.
• The ability to work in a virtual environment and travel regularly (usually two days a week) to the main office in Toronto.
