The assistant director and head of public services is a regular administrative position, full -time for a period of 12 months, providing direct support to the library director and leads the library’s public services. By working with the director of the library, the assistant manager helps in managing all library operations and manages the public service fields in the library, including reference, generalization/reserves, loan and overlapping documents, education, programming/awareness. The assistant director coordinates reference services with librarians and other employees and communicates with the services of supporting the IT office support. The assistant manager also provides instructions, supports assembly development, access to allocated departments, and performs other duties as shown. Hours are needed in the evening and the weekend sometimes. This position is reports to the library director.
