Opportunity
The University of London Arts (Ual) is seeking to appoint a university campus to lead facilities management operations throughout the campus Camberwele, Chelsea, Wimbledon (CCW) and Lime Grove, and a second university campus director of the London Fashion College – East Bank Campus.
Now is an exciting time to join Ual to take on this role. A 10 -year real estate strategy has been developed that will witness the delivery of the new universities of the London Fashion College (which was completed in 2024) and the College of Communications in London (which will be completed in 2027) in addition to a period of real estate transformation through our current portfolio that guarantees that the Ual drug is suitable for the purpose, sustainable and provides their facilities at a global level for our students, employees and employees.
After the appointment of new participants managers in the fields of real estate development and facilities management in 2024, we are now proceeding to invest in the team that will witness the appointment in C.25 new roles in these areas.
When submitting reports to the head of the campus services, the campus manager will be the main operational front on the site, ensuring the provision of effective facilities services. They will supervise both employees of working facilities and service providers contracted, ensuring high -quality delivery and concentrated customers fulfilling the requirements of H&S and supports Ual strategic goals.
The Director of Campus will lead the daily operations of the facilities management, including cleaning, maintenance, security and construction. They will work closely with the owners of the internal interest to ensure the services meet the needs of the campus, pay improvements, ensure compliance, and develop the policies of best practices. They will also support campus projects, contribute to planning business continuity, and lead the FM incident response on site.
About you
A successful candidate will have exceptional knowledge and a busy record in providing and leading the best facilities management services in their class, especially in dynamic, high -end and multiple locations. They will be grateful in building relationships with senior stakeholders and attending an approach focusing on the customer, proactive, and directed towards solutions in their work.
Through excellent communication and personal skills, they will be an inspiring pioneer, stimulating the difference and support the highest standards. A deep understanding of health and safety, compliance with buildings, budget management, and project presentation will be necessary.
