Applications are invited to a post -PhD colleagal to work with Dr. Sway Ting Kong and Dr. Alison Job from the Social Justice and Community Center in the Department of Sociology, and Professor Deby Ribi from the Center for Neurological Diversity and Development in the Department of Psychology. By working in two university centers, our goal is to develop participatory research training for NINEDTP students working in partnership with community / partners groups.

The mail holder will work with the academic team to develop, present and evaluate Participatory Action Training Package for NINEDTP students, which focuses on involving nervous youth and children as experts. This position is funded by the training partnership in Northern Ireland and northeast of the doctorate (nine DTP). More information can be found about NinedTP here.

The successful applicant is expected to be:

• Provide support for the general official to the work package.
• Supporting and developing cooperation between CSJCA and the Center for Nervous Diversity
• Development, implementation and evaluation of Pioneer/Culted-Edge Par for NINEDTP students based on PAR training, CSJCA tools and nervous diversity center (potential paper product)
• Support the development of CPD strategies based on our training and tools.

This post is fixed for 4 months at 0.5FTE until January 31, 2026. Funding is available for this period only. Successful POST applicants will be perfectly by October 2025.

Post -pregnant women are employed to work in the research/research project that will be led by another colleague. While this means that after a pregnant woman will not do independent research itself, expectations are that they will contribute to the progress of the project, by developing their own research ideas/adaptation and developing research protocols.
