Initial accountability:

We are based on Director of Small Business Administration Affairs For our federal group to help direct and support our growth in small federal business programs. This role will play full -time and far from the dimension of business development efforts by ensuring that our organization remains a strategic alignment and is compatible with the requirements of SBA via 8 (A), Hubzone, SDVOSB and relevant certificates.

This position plays an important role in supporting the development of opportunities, managing internal eligibility, and locating in the long term for the success of the only and guest source through our federal portfolio. You must have experience with Alaska or tribal entities in developing economic growth with federal contracts with SBA, Hubzone and 8 (A).

Main responsibilities:

• Advice to BD and driving teams on aligning opportunities with SBA program rules, including 8 (A), size standards, and affiliation risks.

• Supervising the internal tracking, documentation and the progress of compliance with SBA programs through active certificates.

• Preparation and management of presentations for 8 (a) program maintenance, annual reviews, eligibility updates, and other organizational files.

• Maintaining the current knowledge of SBA regulations and federal acquisition changes that affect the small business strategy.

• Interface with SBA province offices and legal advisers to ensure fair communication and timely documents through all the required touch points.

• Working as an internal resource is reliable to assess the effects of eligibility for partnerships, employment plans, and business development initiatives.

• Cooperation with contracts and compliance (joint services) to ensure consistency at the institution level in how to manage SBA programs.

• Leading the internal education efforts of the BD teams and the suggestion teams on SBA -compatible methods of cooperation, subcontracting, and the suggestion structure.

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience directly with SBA Small Business Programs, including 8 (A), Hubzone, SDVOSB and/or WosB.

• Deep understanding of the SBA, and the criteria for small businesses, and federal acquisition regulations (especially Part 19 19).

• The ability to provide advice to growth teams and stakeholders have been proven to be aligned with the program and the compliance strategy.

• Experience management 8 (a) Documents and annual reviews and civil maintenance in complex organizations.

• Writing, research and strong policy interpretation.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree or compliance/preferred legal background.

Favorite experience:

• Experience in supporting the small or admission -owned business entities.

• Insword with SBA Systems (Certify.sba.gov, DSBS, Sam.gov).

• Previous participation with SBA province offices, organizational reviews or government audits.
