The Dotdash Meredit brand design team determines the implementation of the Instyle, BRIDES, BYRDIE and People brand. We build attractive experiences that excite users and amplify our brands. We are looking for a technical director to work closely with our creative manager, photo manager, designers and editing leads to coherent digital brand design experiences. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to create strong visual designs that support our digital content strategy, involve our fans and make them happy.

As a technical manager at Dotdash Meredith, you will be responsible for conducting competitive research, designing a different appearance and appearance of brands, refining and repetition of those ideas for various stakeholders.

Job requirements:

Important responsibilities:

  • Help build a multiple brand brand identities and maintain digital brand guides.

  • Take ownership of designated design projects and follow the operations in place to ensure a smooth delivery of creative assets.

  • Leading the creation of the digital issue art and story layouts.

  • Work alongside the creative director to create digital coverage layouts.

  • Direct construction of digital production, including photo treatments, slogans, illustrations, and social media principles.

  • The concept and production of artistic works dedicated to various digital brand channels, including opening, social, video and growth.

  • Direct and other designers teacher.

  • Cooperation with the product design, trade and growth design team.

Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, education and equivalent experience

  • 1-3 years as a technical manager, from 5 to 10 years as a designer

  • He is mastered in the Creative Adobe Pavilion

  • Strong print skills

  • Strong editing design skills

  • Clarification skills

  • Publishing industry experience

  • Brand experience

  • Experience experience plus

  • Cover design experience

  • Knowing the animated graphics

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A team player ready to work in a fast -paced environment

  • Knowing Figma plus but not necessary
