Role

The situation initially includes a significant progress that we made in establishing an important dual -mix method of high -precision analysis of the Kum’s counterparts changes to the mass to a completely operational methodology. The project will then apply this technology to perform physical option analyzes to determine and understand the volatile loss of the planetary bodies. This work is part of the Vaploss ERC grant by Dr. Remco Hin (CNR, Milan). A successful candidate will be part of this team as well as a member of the Bristol counterparts in the University of Bristol University.

What will you do?

The situation involves dominating a delicate work in a clean laboratory group and a mass spectrum wing. The post -pregnant woman will need to make a sample of low -free silications and separate K from the matrix elements using the ionic pottery. They will also prepare and calibrate a 41your-40K Spike that will be added to samples for the analysis. Potassium samples will be analyzed on the scale of the multi -heat galactic spectrum, although there is also a field of analysis using a collision cell, and the scale of the packed plasma is richly associated. The initial stage will unify our current experience to create a high -resolution measurement protocol. The successful candidate of the dual measurements of determining the theoretical differences on the mass will reduce the K in the different wholesale samples. The results and inferences will be written for publication.

You must apply if

Applicants with enthusiasm are encouraged to perform difficult but innovative analytical measurements. We welcome applicants with wide experience in measuring the percentage of inorganic isotopes, especially in a chemical context. In addition to a strong analytical background, a good understanding of the main processes is needed during the growth of solid planets.
