Opportunity:
Are you interested in understanding the reasons for heavy menstruation? Do you want to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team? Then please apply for this wonderful position that works with our team based on Edinburgh on this project funded by Wellcome Leap as part of the deadly vital signal program. The candidate will participate in all aspects of sampling, analyzes and interpretation. You will work with a cooperative team including basic scientists, clinical scientists and research nurses to contribute to a new knowledge to enhance our understanding of HMB reasons.
This full -time post (35 hours per week); However, we are open to looking at part -time work patterns. We are also open to considering hybrid work requests (on a non -contracting basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular work on campus.
This post is initial for 10 months, and this may be extended with the passage of the salted landmarks that are fulfilled.
Your skills and characteristics for success:
- Bachelor’s degree in the subject of biological sciences.
- First degree of honor at the level of university or graduate degree (MASTERS/PHD).
- Efficiency in treating the sample of molecular analyzes down, cell culture, RNA and protein extraction, hormone tests, western QRTPCR analysis, and textile analyzes including advanced imaging methods.
- Evidence of the ability to integrate different methodologies.
- The ability to work on the deadlines has been proven.
