The Faculty of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics at Queens Belfast University is one of the UK leaders in internationally recognized research and teaching in international politics and relations. The school seeks to appoint a lecturer in public policy as of January 2026, to support research and teaching at all levels of the field, including research methods.
Politics and international relations have a diverse and vibrant research culture, and the successful candidate will complete the current employee profile by bringing experience in public (international) policy or global rule through either extensive specializations in governance and policy -making, objective research experience, or international political issues, international political issues, government judgment, judgment on health, or sustainability.
About the person:
The appointed person will play a major role in all school research and teaching activities, with a special focus on helping (A) progress in a master’s degree in international public policy, including systematic systematic training, (B) expanding the scope of public policy of our university degrees in international politics and relations; And (c) contributing to the work of the Public Policy and Administration Center.
The successful candidate must have, and your request must be clearly explained that you have:
- Doctorate degree (or close to completion with the presented thesis and VIVA scheduled) in a field with a strong profile of public policy, for example, political science, public administration.
- Record the publication of high -quality research outputs for the profession.
- Evidence of independent contribution to research projects and outputs.
- Teaching experience is suitable for functional stage, including university teaching or graduate studies, project supervision, evaluation, and counter -feeding experience.
- The ability to teach through political science and general policy, including research methods.
- A busy record of leadership, was proven as evidence of leadership, or a major contribution to the main initiatives that have improved significantly from educational, research or administrative processes.
