Focusing on youth, adults and conservation management, this role is diverse and dynamic as it crosses many of our delivery projects on the site. As an adaptable individual who has the passion and love of nature in your essence, you will be responsible for planning and presenting practical projects on the site only, but also to share our society with the love of our planet and landscapes.
Main goals:
- Take the initiative in the site preservation plan to develop and provide plans that support both nature and the farm institution to flourish as partnership.
- Planning, delivering and completing the tasks of conservation at the site while driving and training volunteers, youth or other youth groups, as necessary.
- To provide opportunities to visit the public to interact with nature and wildlife on the site, and encourage them to better understand its importance through the interesting and attractive activities that you and others lead within the team.
- To support young people at risk from excluding from school through our youth project, recovery of education, and supporting them in the workplace/additional education through their inspiration and building their self -belief using the natural environment in Fordhall Farm.
Expected hours: 32 a week (currently Tuesday – Friday), in addition to 6 weekends pre -seized per year.
Delivery date: Midnight Sunday, October 5, 2025
