About the section
The Finance Department seeks to employ an assistant manager for the joint services team. This is a full -time role that can be done with flexibility as 0.8fte if necessary and it will be appropriate as an opportunity to dictate because of its specific nature. We are currently running a hybrid work arrangement with two days in the office and the rest of the time can be done at home.
About the role
We are looking for a dynamic leader to head our financial joint services team. This role is an integral part of consistency, monotheism and improving the process through financing functions, while ensuring compatibility with the organizational requirements of the sector, auditing standards, and institutional policies.
Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery of basic services to transactions, including payment accounts, arrest accounts, salary statements, employee expenses, relevant public professor’s notebook maintenance and improvement of systems. It will also manage and inspire a team of financial professionals and cooperation with colleagues of the Academic and Vocational Services Department alike to ensure the fulfillment of financial services for institutional needs.
The necessary skills, experience and qualifications:
- Qualification for Vocational Accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
- Wide -scale knowledge of the generally accepted accounting principles in the United Kingdom (generally accepted accounting)
- An installed experience in providing an excellent financial business partnership for senior leaders
- Excellent communication and personal skills to communicate effectively with professional advisers and stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with a drive to improve operations continuously and enhance change through the financing function.
