The Center for Flexibility in the Environment, Water and Wastes (Creww) wants to employ a large research technician to support Professor Richard Prazier and the upper thinking team. This post is available on October 1, 2025 until September 30, 2029, with the possibility of extension to finance research. The successful applicant will work on the upper monitoring project, the initial tasks will include the losing laboratory analysis of the water samples collected from the high water gatherings and low lands in southwestern England. This role is also responsible for preparing and implementing algae defining in fresh water, taking the initiative to develop the laboratory method, and other research activities to support the project goals. About you

The successful applicant will be able to manage his work burden to successfully complete the practical tasks of the research project, and to communicate effectively with the team and the external stakeholders, through the mouth, in writing and electronic.

Applicants will be taught to the first degree level in the environmental sciences or the field of relevant study (i.e. biology, chemistry, geography), or they have qualified/equivalent experience in the field of relevant study and are able to show adequate knowledge of discipline, methods and research techniques in the research programs in force.

Applicants will have experience working in laboratory and field environments, they will be confident of using scientific equipment, and they will also be excited to learn the effects of water gatherings management and landscape restoring water quality and microbiology.
