The English Language, Media and Culture Department, within the Institute of Arts and Humanities, seeks to appoint an experienced researcher like A great lecturer in English literature On a permanent basis. The role holder must have experience in teaching English literature, but multidisciplinary backgrounds and experiences are welcomed, especially because the course is in line with the understanding of critical theories and cultural history. Among the university curricula that the appointed may provide or contribute to 2025-26 is the following:

  • Literary forms and types;
  • Literary theory and practice;
  • Places and spaces;
  • Post -colonialism and critical theories of sweat;
  • Ecocriticism.

A successful candidate will have the opportunity to oversee the projects of the thesis of the university stage. There may also be an opportunity to contribute to our graduate programs, such as English cultural studies and / or MA.

  • An annual gradual increase of up to 55755 pounds, with the opportunity to advance to 60,907 pounds, according to performance and university reward scheme
