The sugar protein treatment laboratory, led by Professor Max Crespin, is focusing on developing antiviral vaccines and treating antibodies against cancer. One of the main areas of interest is the design of HIV vaccine, especially understanding how glycan affects the structure and function of the viral protein, and how it can be processed for therapeutic applications.
We are looking for a part -time research technician to support laboratory research on Gallowougi HIV. The role includes the culture of mammal cells, diabetic protein, the production of false viruses, protein purification, and the preparation of the sample to measure the mass spectrum. Postolder will ensure a daily -seamless experiment and recording accurate data and high -quality outputs, while contributing to laboratory maintenance and cooperative projects.
Main responsibilities
- Mamluk cell culture: Maintaining mammal cell lines used to produce diabetic protein and produce false viruses. Transferces performance and cell growth monitor to ensure optimum conditions.
- Express Express HIV-1 En express Glycoproteins in mammal cells. Protecting proteins using nickel rapprochement and gearbia. Prepare samples for the analysis of the gladic spectrum.
- False virus production: helping to generate HIV virus (HIV-1). Conducting a quality examination to ensure cloning and consistency in batches.
- Laboratory support: Preparing temporary warehouses, reagents and cultural media as needed. Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Support commitment to protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Data management: document procedures, sample stocks, and experimental results. Keep detailed records for false viruses and diabetic protein samples.
- Cooperation: Work closely with researchers after doctorates, doctoral students and technical staff. Providing technical support through the HIV.
About you
Knowledge, experience and qualifications
You should get a certificate in biochemistry, molecular biology, virus science, a related field – or an equivalent experience. Experience with mammary cell culture techniques necessary. It is very desirable with expression methods and protein purification (for example, GNL is close) and experience in the production and purification of false viruses.
Collective work and communication
You are actively working in the environment of a cooperative team and communicating clearly with regard to progress and priorities. Maintaining written records and accurate pronunciation is necessary.
Planning, organization and resource management
It organizes the tasks of the laboratory efficiently and contributes to the stock management. You can search for inputs from colleagues to improve experimental designs and improve workflow.
Solve problems and initiative
You can explore and fix errors in technical problems using applicable practices and solve routine problems such as pollution or weak returns. You contribute to improving laboratory practices within protocols and showing flexibility when learning new methods.
