Princeton University is pleased to announce the invitation of the Fung Global Fellows program at the Institute of the Brentston Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS). The program will choose scientists early from all over the world to be in a place of residence in Princeton for the academic year (10 months) and engage in research and discussion on a common topic. Fellows will be granted to those working outside the United States who have a date of faculty or a professional research date, and they are expected to return to their positions at the end of the fellowship. Finally, they must have shown a distinguished scientific achievement and an extraordinary intellectual promise. Scientists will be appointed early in the rank of visiting researcher.

The 2026-27 academic program will focus on “Archive Policy”. The chosen colleagues will explore the international inheritance of libraries, museums and archives on a large scale and in any modern country. Only how these groups were created? How is it preserved now, justified or revised in light of the current policy?

Applicants may also work to compensate for previous credits. What are the models that you took, and when was the re -music context or physical recovery in response to such calls? How can digital technology overcome or enhance knowledge production?

We will also be interested in thinking about projects that examine cases where groups remain an integral part of the national resistance dates, or compete with such accounts, and even converting former heroes into collaborators. Finally, it seems appropriate at the present time to consider the history and possibility of memory migration.

To be qualified, applicants must have a doctorate (or equivalent) in general after September 1, 2016. Current candidates at the PhD degree or employees are unqualified as unqualified to progress. Fellows will be granted the strength of the proposed research project for the candidate, the relationship of this project to the subject of the program, the scientific record of the candidate, and their ability to contribute to the intellectual life of the program. The following elements must be submitted by the applicant, in English, by November 17, 2025:

  • Cover letter (1.5 pages)
  • CV (including publications)
  • Search suggestion (maximum 3 pages, one spaced)
  • One writing sample (article or book book, 50 pages as a maximum)
  • Names and email addresses for three rulers, they will be contacted automatically online

The application system with an invitation to download the recommendation letter to the system by the applicant’s deadline. (*Please note: All reference messages must be presented by your rulers before the deadline on November 17, 2025.*)

In the event of a presentation, successful candidates who hold the dates of faculty members or professional research dates will be asked to submit an official letter from the current employer, stressing that they will be allowed to accept the offer and spend the school year at Princeton University.
