We are looking for an experienced and dynamic UX UX engineer to join our team.
The Baymard Institute is a pioneering and independent web use foundation that conducts wide research studies. We share the results we have reached through a custom B2B Saas platform This serves 17,500 brands, agencies, researchers and UX designers in 80 countries-including 71 % of e-commerce companies 500 Fortune 500.
Baymard products suite include:

Baymard is a small organization: we are about 60 people in total, with 12 members of the product team, who appreciate accuracy, SCARAPPY approach, and continuous repetition. The team is 100 % far away and is fully distributed throughout America and Europe.
About the role
UX engineer in Baymard is a pivotal role, which combines the front engineering leadership with practical development. You will be a major player in a small, influential team, as you contribute directly to products that teach and enable UX professionals around the world. We appreciate accuracy, continuous improvement, and cooperative spirit. If you are enthusiastic about the front development in a fast -paced repetitive environment, we encourage you to apply!
In this main role, you will deal with the front implementation of Baymard software products, and work closely with the Engineering Command (BRETT CHALUPA), design team, main stakeholders, and multi -functional teams such as research and marketing. As UX engineer, you will be responsible for charging web applications, cooperating with back developers, and keeping current jobs.
This is a unique opportunity to form the future of our products offers. You are entering the institution at a critical time, when we turn from a digital content platform (the past 5 years) into more Saas tool (also a UX scanner). It will be effective in a cooperative environment where we put the priority for shipping quickly and repeated based on the user’s needs.
Our Tech Mix consists of Next.js, Typescript, Node.js, Tailwind, MySQL and Ruby Ruby on Rails.
What will you do?

Development of the front web application: Work user interfaces from design specifications, improve the user experience of our web applications, contribute to rear development as needed for your projects, and improving current performance features. This includes work with engineering bullets on the technical strategy and goals. -
Cooperation with other engineers: Work closely with other engineers to determine best practices, patterns and patterns. We are in the process of unifying our engineering efforts in one music, as well as training Ruby engineers in Typescript, so your experience will be decisive in the success of this transition.
