To teach and advise university students, postgraduate studies and CPD students are taught within the College of Computer Science, especially with responsibility for a limited number of graduate units that are taught in the field of post -owner experience. The role will also support the development of new programs at the level of graduate studies in the field of computer science when necessary, as well as contributing to the delivery and promotion of the provision of university level and current graduate studies.

Main duties

• Teach training courses in a set of levels within the field of the specified topic and within the specific fields of databases and software engineering for university students, graduate students and CPD students, mostly through dedicated lectures and seminars, so that teaching goals are achieved in the school.
• Contribute to the design of university science units and graduate studies with other colleagues.
• Plans and preparation of your teaching, including guidance notes and pamphlets according to the goals specified for the teaching program.
• Creating and supervising student projects, student theses and practical work.
• Developing an approach to planning and reviewing your teaching.
• Make a full set of responsibilities regarding supervision, brand and study. (Rejoice evaluation, including the scheduled work that contributes to the final prize – as a sign or credit – such as invisible exams, articles, thesis or presentations, is subject to verification of the health supervisor’s health.)
• Often update the topic experience.
• Do personal professional development in teaching, including self -teaching self -thinking, using student and horn review notes, to enhance teaching and learning processes.
• Management/administration arising from teaching.
• Contribute to activities related to school teaching and teaching management.
• Helping in school events, such as the days of visitors to the applicants, and in organizing and operating educational groups.
• Contributing to the activities of institutions,/or business development and/or general participation activities to make clear to the college and university, and is often under the supervision of the project leader.
• It enhances equality and values ​​diversity that works as a role model and enhances a comprehensive culture culture.
• Support for delivery, evaluation and student experience in the MSC program in January, which requires teaching during the summer.

Person specifications

• A higher degree related to computer science and with specific knowledge of databases, software engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
• Infintering with python is necessary.
• High -level analytical ability.
• The ability to design and provide stereotypes materials successfully.
• The ability to evaluate and organize resources effectively.
• Understanding the ability to contribute to the wider management/administration operations.
• Knowing the protected characteristics of the 2010 Equality Law, and how to ensure the final activity in the daily activity in the private region, is dealt with those who have equal and fairly protected properties.
• Preparing and flexibility to contribute to programs with non -standard delivery patterns, including MSC teaching in January during the summer.
