Overview of the situation
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled software developer to join our team as a Proteusds desktop developer. In this role, you will submit a report to the software development director and will be responsible for developing and testing programs. It will work on the tools used by Bahriyah architects and engineers and maritime technicians to design the marinacle, analyze the buoy systems and evaluate the vessels of the ship. Attention to diving in marine architecture, ocean engineering, and all marine objects is very important to this role.
As an ideal filter, you will have experience in developing desktop applications in the Windows environment, and it has fluency in C#, experience with software design, and know the best practices test. Knowledge of ocean engineering, marine simulation or marine architecture is not required for this role, but the background in these areas will be useful for developing intuitive and useful facades and working with the Proteusds development team.
What will you do?
- Wonderful user interface development: Take advantage of your understanding of best practices to design the user interface to help develop our current generation of desktop applications using .net Winforms and WPF.
- Software design and architecture: Training on software development best practices for designing programs that emphasize maintenance and reuse.
- Software Test: Make sure the code you write and reliable by writing and maintaining appropriate program tests.
- Quality Assurance: Use your professional judgment to ensure that the program you create is better represents the company and yourself.
- Cooperation: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, marine architects, mechanical engineers/civilians and project managers to create effective programs solutions.
- Continuing learning: Stay on the way of the software industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices.
- Defending the product and improving it: Be a passionate preacher of the product, and actively looking for effective ways to implement improvements and gain visions about customer use to report new programs.
About you
- education:
- Graduation from a recognized university with a Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science; or
- Graduation from a recognized university with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, marine architecture, marine engineering, ocean engineering or relevant discipline and has experience in developing software
- P.eng. / Eit eligibility plus
- Technical skills and experience:
- Experience in using C#, Visual Studio to develop the desktop application
- Experience in user interface design (Winforms or WPF)
- Experience with the GIT version (GIT) control
- Influence with software test
- Infinter with software design patterns
- Infinitely with numerical analysis or data
- Infinter with C ++
- Strong sports skills
