We are looking for a distinguished academic commander to join the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department as a professor in electrical engineering, specifically in the field of energy electronics and disk engines. The successful candidate will bring a record of achievement in research, teaching and academic leadership, as well as a clear vision of progress in discipline and inspiration for the next generation of engineers.

Main responsibilities

Planning, leading the development and implementation of the research strategy in electrical and electronic engineering, and building a national and international reputation. Providing academic leadership, including guidance and colleagues’ support, and strengthening a comprehensive and high -performance academic community. Contributing to the development of curricula, and ensuring the innovative approach to learning, teaching and evaluation that reflects international best practices. Leading and supporting major financing bids, developing partnerships with industrial and external organizations, and maintaining research support for discipline. It represents and strengthens the reputation of the department, faculty and university members through scientific outputs, academic networks, and participation with professional bodies. It carries leadership and management roles within the department, including appointing academic teams, developing and performing them.

Basic qualifications and experience

Doctorate in electrical and electronic engineering or a close field. It is an international profile for excellence in research, with a continuous record of high -quality publications in the leading magazines that the peers review. Evidence of success in securing national and international competitive grants, designing competition, widespread leadership, external property, research record. Leadership, including directing doctoral students, junior colleagues, and contributing to the strategy of departments and faculty members. Communication skills in communication and the ability to build strong internal and external cooperation.

Your wages, benefits, and support

A successful candidate will be offered to a five -year contract that may be extended by mutual agreement. The salary is negotiable in the professor, depending on the skills and experience. A comprehensive advantages package is provided, including residence and insurance allowance, education support, home trip allowance, support for return, support for home, and a paid annual leave. Opportunities may also be available to apply for Chinese talent schemes, according to eligibility. For candidates who have reached the legal retirement age under Chinese regulations, a service agreement will be presented instead.
