Are you excited about taxes, taxes and teaching? Berkbeek, University of London, is seeking a participant lecturer to teach the semester next spring 2026.

Berkby Business College Looking to recruit a fixed part-time participating records in the fixed-term teaching of the stereotype:-

  • Taxes
  • 13.5 hours, teaching on Friday 7.30 pm to 9 pm
  • Spring period, 9 weeks of teaching, January – August 2026.

This unit provides a working framework through which students can obtain an understanding of the main features of the UK tax system – income tax, corporate tax, capital profit tax and value -added tax – from an individual and commercial perspective. This assesses the impact of taxes on personal and commercial decisions.

In addition, the course provides an understanding of the main economic and social considerations in designing the UK tax system.

The aim of this course is to explore and develop topics to achieve a deeper estimate of theoretical and practical issues related to the selected tax topics and stimulate a cash evaluation of the tax policy used in the areas of the subject.

In particular, the course aims for students to:

  • The development of an understanding, from a historical perspective, to the role of political economy in imposing taxes on the United Kingdom.
  • Developing an estimate of economic and legal aspects and tax accounting.
  • Developing practical knowledge of the most important current tax fields.
  • Developing analytical capabilities and solving problems in making tax planning decisions.
  • We appreciate the relationship between different taxes and their effects on work decisions.
  • Developing technical expertise to produce tax accounts.

Rewards:

The payment of each hour depends on the continuous service period with the college (the start rate is 69.68 pounds per hour, including the London pro -fees and holiday wages) for the contact hours. This hourly average depends on the starting point in the seventh grade and it includes “duties related to the teaching double” in 2.5, which covers preparation, teaching, management, evaluation marks and other examination duties in relation to the course.
