This is a full -time job

The head of production financing will supervise all aspects of the production financing process and the accounting process: from the management of the productive accounting team, to ensuring accurate reporting in a timely manner about the actual and estimated cost costs, through the final tax credit and closing the offer.
This role will be assumed closely with the material production team on budgets and analyzes and is responsible for protecting the company’s assets through the continuous monetary and monitoring management of policy and procedures, as well as active participation in production operations. The successful candidate will appear dynamic cooperation through the job with all business partners to make offers with careful time in time.
This role provides reports to the company’s financial manager with a dotted line report to VP/Controller, and is supervised by the first assistant production accountant.

Job duties include, but not limited to:
• A partner with creative affairs, production, finance, commercial affairs and human resources to manage financial operations effectively
• Contacting the financing of companies, commercial affairs and human resources to ensure that production policies and procedures are currently and implementing them effectively
• Supervising the first assistant employees, accounting, production that works from remote
• A partner closely with VP/Controller and Corporate Accounting Team; Maintaining cooperative communication and submitting reports on a regular and consistent basis
• Prepare all financial documents for production, including prediction, budgets, cost reports, experimental balances and simple monetary reconciliation
• Cash flow management for production and expenses
• Tracking spending on development
• Preparatory (such as the preparation of bank accounts and EP licenses) and wrap products
• Employment, training and management of production accounting teams exposed when necessary
• Work with the employees of the accountant exhibition to pay carefully and complete
• Coordination and implementation of the policies and goals of taxes, employment and sources
• The main contact of the financial management between the executives of production, accountants, producers, corporate financing, customers (studio/broadcaster/broadcast service/distributor, etc.)
• Providing production and accounting directives to Jim Henson Company
• Ensure that financial monitoring policies and procedures are implemented uniformly, and that salaries are compatible with the company’s criteria and are compatible with the collective negotiation agreement and local and state -propelled regulations
• Adopting new technologies and determining the best ways to integrate into the workflow production production
• Managing the workflow of production incentives and ensuring the receipt of tax credits or cash
• Ensure that the costs of the insurance claim are accurate and support them adequately by time tables, bills and salary documents
• Identifying problems and address them quickly, including the collapses of communication

Qualifications, knowledge and skills required:
• Candidates must have more than 8 years in accounting for written television production
• Bachelor’s degree in financing, accounting, work, or relevant field is preferred
• Previous experience as an accountant to produce TV production or a major production accountant
• Wide understanding of production incentives
• An facility with productive accounting programs: the magic of films, Smartaccounting, PSL+ or the like, as well as familiarity with entertainment partners and severe access to salary statements and accounting platforms and EP CARES health insurance
• A strong understanding of the salary statements process, trade union employment agreements, tax requirements, and remains
• The ability to influence the higher leadership, and to understand and clarify issues using the creative, production or financial context
• The ability to lead and manage a direct and indirect team has proven through superior and personal communication and leadership skills
• The ability to connect while working under the pressure of time has shown multiple tasks, adaptation and prosperity in a fast -changing environment
• Experience with international production and related tax and accounting issues
• Strong analytical ability with a focus on solutions
