On this position: GIS II analyst helps organize, maintain, maintain and monitor the geographic information system, GIS database and database information information for Edmund. The work includes the development, implementation, and support of applications and tools for the web maps, desktop and mobile devices under the structure of the Arcgis server.
These applications will include mergement tools, inquiries about the database, update and edit spatial data. The work may also include developing and providing information to the city council, city councils, commissions, employees and the public to help in various decision -making operations.
Qualifications:
Diploma in the High School or the equivalent of Ged
General knowledge equals 2 years from the college
-5 years of experience and/or related training (or a combined mix of education and experience)
-2 years of administrative experience (people and/or project management)
-A driving license in Oklahoma and an acceptable leadership record in the city’s insurance company
Favorite qualifications:
-Allocating education and experience is equivalent to a university degree with the main work in geography, computer science, planning, engineering, or related fields
Evaluation as a professional in geographic information systems (GISP)
-Favorite experience in one (1) or more of the following: Arcgis Pro, Arcgis Portal, SQL, Python, Javascript, ASP.NET, Microsoft Visual Studio
Responsibilities:
Developing, applying and allocating geographic information systems and applications
-The fluency in future maps applications and technologies
Interior and external operations by using available tools (models, textual programs, programming languages, etc.)
Documenting documents for operations and procedures
-Good in designing, implementing and maintaining geodataps
-Providing technical support to access the system/data or the production of maps/reports in geographic information systems, work arrangement, and other relevant programs
-Hain, update, and the performance of quality control on geographic information systems data and related relationship database information
-Developing and providing maps, data, reports, presentations and other information using various arcgis solutions and other applicable reports tools
The necessary skills:
Availability and desire to work sometimes until after a scheduled working day or change working hours to accommodate duties
Availability to contact problems (as required)
The ability to meet the material standards required for this position
-The ability to pass a large -scale background, pharmaceutical and sound performances before employment
